Philip’s first novel, Father’s Day, was published by Alfred A Knopf in June 2004.  The paperback edition will be published by Vintage this June.  Hailed by Publishers Weekly as “winsome and marvelously witty,” it was selected by Barnes & Noble for its “Discover Great New Writers” program.”  He is working on his second novel.

Always an avid furniture collector, Philip now also consults on interior design projects for select clients.  Recent projects include a House in East Hampton, interior design, furnishings and art for an Edward Durrell Stone townhouse, and a guest house/garden pavilion in Greenwich Village.
